Yesterday I decided to get started on the Glowbones & The Egg Quest #4:

"So, this next Quest is a test of Speed. The Objective is to get 1 Global in each of the 20 CND domes. What’s required is an Equal Combination of hunting and Mining: 10 of Each. Heroes can pick which Domes to mine and which to hunt. The fastest time from first to last global based on the time stamps will be the Winner, though all must complete the task to move on"

Well, what an absolute marathon it turned out to be. My first global was in Dome 2 on Fungoids on 08.11.07 at 14.53.01 and my last was in Dome 11 on Longu on 09.11.07 at 01.24.29 so I make that 10 hours, 31 minutes and 30 seconds in total. I am quite sure that this will be beaten especially as I was stuck on my last mining global in Dome 5 for over 2 hours! I tried everything I could think of and it just seemed to take forever. When I finally got it, it turned out to be my second highest mining global in the Quest.

Anyway, I did manage to get a very nice Hof on Allophyls. I couldn't believe it when it popped up and I actually thought I'd missed the screenshot as I pressed the wrong key. Luckily, even though Fraps didn't get it, I had accidently pressed the key for Peass which I had started up without thinking!
