Today were the finals for the MMOWC to find the two Grand Finalists who will go forward to play in Vegas. Sadly I missed the first 4 rounds due to needing sleep so missed Star getting the first ticket. The Control Room at CND was really buzzing when I arrived to listen in on the rest of the rounds. It was certainly nail biting stuff with excellent commentary from NeverDie.

After 7 rounds it was Star with 3 wins, Avery with 2 and Skalman with 2 so the 8th round could and probably would decide the 2nd finalist to go through. What a round it was with Avery getting a very nice global in the last few minutes to take the win. Best of luck to Star and Avery at the Final and I can't wait to listen in when it happens!
Celebrating Star & Avery's Victories
After the excitement of the MMOWC it was time to head planetside for some hunting and crafting. I started on the Atrox at the Rig. I got a 78 ped Atrox Prowler and a 104 ped Atrox Old Alpha. I then moved to Hogglos but only managed a single global of 58 ped on a Hogglo Young. Next I tried Phasms as they have been looting well for me but again I just managed the one global, 63 ped Phasm Young.

As the hunting wasn't going to successfully I decided to try crafting. I did 300 clicks on OA-102 Amps and got 19 globals the best of which was 139 ped so not great. Jay, a friend then asked me to craft him some Hunnirs and a Jzar. I got two globals on the Hunnirs, 142 ped and 143 ped so consistant if nothing else!

During the evening I made a very tough decision which was to leave the Vampires HQ Society and go back to Freelancer. I have been considering this for weeks and it was by no means easy to say goodbye to some wonderful people and I hope we all continue to be great friends and hunt together now and then. I have had a couple of offers from other Socities which I am currently considering but I am not going to rush into anything. Best of luck to everyone in VHQ and go get that ATH!!
