I started hunting today on Formicacidas. I did a full hunt and didn't even get one global so headed to TI for the Hogglos. Things weren't much better here. I did get one global, a 106 ped Hogglo Young but the lag, missed hits and amount of crit hits I was getting made it a waste of time. I even had 3 crit hits from one Hogg which I survived but my armour didn't like it too much. This was just a total waste of ped so I decided to try something different.

I decided to head east of Solfas Crater to find some Itumatrox. Well, I found all of about 6 so headed south into the Hispidus LA. Things took a turn for the better here and although I had to run around a fair bit to find some decent spawns I did manage to bag 2 globals, a 78 ped Hispidus Young and a 62 ped Hispidus Young.

Next I decided to try the big Nexnecis north west of Shinook Jungle. There was a nice spawn of them and I got 3 globals on this hunt, a 52 ped Nexnecis Alpha, 119 ped Nexnecis Dominant and a 66 ped Nexnecis Dominant. I really enjoyed the hunting here and will definately go back again soon.
Next I decided to try the big Nexnecis north west of Shinook Jungle. There was a nice spawn of them and I got 3 globals on this hunt, a 52 ped Nexnecis Alpha, 119 ped Nexnecis Dominant and a 66 ped Nexnecis Dominant. I really enjoyed the hunting here and will definately go back again soon.

I then took a break for a while to watch some dvd's and have something to eat. On my return I thought I would try some nice easy mobs without armour so I headed out to the Argonauts SE of Fort Argus. I also hunted some Hiryuu, Snarksnots, Prancers, Plumatergus, Drones and Molisk. The loot wasn't great as I expected but I did get a 73 ped Argonaut Gatherer. I think this is my first ever global while not wearing any armour.

I was hoping to get some Armax globals and though I shot lots I didn't get a single global. I did some exploring to see what other mobs were there and I saw some Feffoids, Atrax and Sabakumas and then I discovered some bigger Hispidus and tonnes of Merps. I spent some time on the Hispidus and got a 119 ped Hispidus Guardian.

I received a very nice and flattering PM today on the Forums asking if I would be interested in being a prize for a Hunting Event being run internally for The Prophecey Society. The prize will be for one of their entrants, drawn at random, to join me for a 1 hour hunting trip. I thought this sounded great fun and have agreed to do it. I hope the winner has a great time and we get lots of loot! I will post about what happens in the New Year when the Event has finished.
