This morning I entered for the Global Madness event on CND. As there had been a 19k Hof on Neconu the previous night and I'd had a Hof myself this week on Allophyl and Longu have been looting badly all week for me I couldn't decide what mob to hunt in the event. I went for a quick run around beforehand in those three domes and the best loot seemed to be coming from Neconu so I decided to go for those.
I started off reasonably well with a 67 ped Neconu Provider soon followed by a 67 ped Neconu Guardian. From here I just seemed to move further and further down the Leader Board. I was in 13th place when I had to restock with ammo and I nearly changed Domes but decided no, I should stick with the Neconu.
About 3 minutes before the end of the event I got an 86 ped Neconu Provider but this was only enough to move me up to 12th place. Ozi had set a very good lead with a 260+ ped loot but as this is a highest single loot competition anything can happen and it did.... it happened to me! With 2 minutes to go I got a 383 ped Neconu Provider and shot into first place! I couldn't believe it.

From this point on I just kept shooting and hoping that it would be enough to keep me in first place and it was. I won the Global Madness Event!

This evening was the Champions League Event #9. I was dreading this one, not because it was a 'no fap' event but as it was to be in the worst looting Domes for me. Again, as this morning I did a quick run in Domes 1 and 4 to see which was looting best. Ambulimax where terrible as always and then stuipedly I went and got a small globlal in Dome 4 on the Atrox. I decided I would go with them for the event and just hoped it was the beginning of more globals to come.
Well, it was an awful event for me and several others. The loot was so bad and lots who normally global didn't. I did eventually manage to get a 74 ped Atrox Young right towards the end but it was only enough to move me up from 20th place to 13th.

In Total War I really had to try and get the full PK points to get the maximum 4 total bonus points allowed. I managed to get 2. It was so nearly 3 except trying to kill LoneWolf the Atrox finished him off first and then I got stuck on top of the damn things! It was the most of them I'd seen during the whole event but looks quite funny on the screenshot.

All in all it was a pretty mixed day. A terrific morning then a not so good night! I finally remembered to collect my sign and 2 letters from NeverDie for the Glowbones & The Egg Quest and he wished me luck with my time on Quest #4 though I'm sure it will be easily beaten and I can't wait to see who does it.
