Hogglo's, Atrox & Neodav's Birthday

I didn't start playing until quite late today as I had a funeral to attend and some other website things to sort out first so I had a fair bit of catching up to do. I started off on Hogglo's at TI and got a 102 ped Hogglo Young, 118 ped Hogglo Young and an 80 ped Hogglo Young. I had to shoot a heck of a lot of them to get these 3 globals so I then decided to go and hunt some Atrox on the Land Area north east of Akmuul.

Although I found a few nice sized Atrox including an Old Alpha and Stalker the loot was still pretty dreadful and from one hunt I only managed to get a 52 ped Atrox Dominant so was very disappointed. I decided to head back once again to the Hogglo's and see if a return trip would pay off. I decided to TP further than I normally do and managed to land in the middle of 6 Hogglo's, and no, I'm not exaggerating! I somehow managed to kill one and then luckily a team of hunters appeared and tagged 2 off of me which I was so grateful for which left me with 3. I kept shooting at the ones left and in the middle of the chaos managed to get an 85 ped Hogglo Young.

I then moved slightly further away to another spot to try and give the team some room and low and behold in set the loot lag which is normally a very very bad sign. I either get pitiful loots or none at all so I continued hunting and was in the middle of shooting the next mob when I heard the Hof sound. For a split second I thought it was the team and then I realised it was me and luckily just about got a screenshot! I have been trying to get a Hof on these for so long and at last I have finally done it and I am delighted! It wasn't that big so it didn't get me very high on the board but a Hof is a Hof as they say.

I shot another 3 or 4 Hogglos that were nearby and then decided to call it a night. I then heard from one of my Soc Mates, Sorg, that it was Neodav's birthday at midnight, which, with him being an hour ahead was 11pm my time. So, a few of us met up at Jasons as I had some fireworks and that's the best place to use them. Neo soon arrived and we all wished him a Happy Birthday and let off fireworks and champagne. I believe tomorrow we may have a little Soc hunt so I am looking forward to that.
