Today was the England WoF match vs Finland in the second round of the Bye Bye Robot stage. I was England Captain for the second time and again we really needed a win. We all met outside the Cave near the Limnadian District tp on Eudoria. Anyway, just before it was time to head off the main team of myself, Princess, Tekkie & Eps teamed up and added our judge, Lee, to the team.

This time I headed straight to the Miner Bots and Drones on TI to try and get the full bonus points this round. Mandy was my support (Slappy was a no-show) as well as Kygon. They did a great job herding for me and I got a 62 ped Drone Generation 05 global but no Miner.

Princess was having some connection problems and disappeared for quite a while so I quickly joined Eps on the SEGS as Tekkie was going for the Drones and Warriors. Eps and I got a 55 ped SEG Gen 01. Princess landed back and Tekkie got the Warrior global we needed so there were 3 back on SEGS. I took a quick return trip out to the Miner Bots and finally got the global we needed, a 51 ped Miner Bot Generation 05.

After finally getting this global I headed back to join the rest of the team on SEGS. We got several more globals, the best of which was 148 ped on a SEG Generation 01. The match finished and were all feeling a bit low as we were convinced we had lost. Finland seemed to be constantly globalling on the SEGS and these are awarded 10 points each. We all headed back to the cave to hear the results only to find out that we had won the match! We couldn't believe it! I guess getting the full 50 bonus points certainly helped. I was certainly relieved that my two times as Captain resulted in two wins. I'd like to say thank you to Finland for a great match, you really had us worried!

Scotland's match was next. As ours finished late there was only a 20 minute break so I logged off for a little longer to grab something to eat and drink. When I came back I joined the team on Hiryuu as I managed to get this one for them last time. Anyway, I didn't get it, but the team got 2 globals on them in a row. We quickly headed for TI to join the team on Globsters. We got several globals out here as well as a Hof of 380 ped on a Globster Young. Unfortunately Scotland lost the match so they now need a very good point scoring match next round and hope that France falls apart.
